Terry's goal in sculpture-making is to give new purpose to discarded objects and create a homage to nature, and hopefully inspire conversation and renewed perspective.

Terry Church is an artist, wood worker, and welder. He repurposes and combines discarded materials with political edge and humor. Working in the trades, he witnessed tremendous waste and thus became passionate about salvaging building materials and found objects.

Terry is especially moved by mentoring young people in repurposing materials as a low budget way to share their voice. He believes that the more you can learn how to problem-solve and put things together, the more skills you gain to survive and thrive.

The MAC acknowledges that we operate on the unceded ancestral lands of the people known as Pomo, Wappo, Wintun, and Lake Miwok. Their descendants, the Middletown Rancheria of Pomo Indians of California Nation, live here today.
They are the past present and future stewards of this land.

We stand in solidarity with the First People recognizing the great harm done to them here, as well as their resilience. We pledge to continue to build authentic relationships and work together with them through creative action, towards healing both the land and the people.

We also recognize that our work is but a small step towards reconciliation and that there is much work to be done.
