HARLEM VOICES
Clovice Lewis and the Middletown Art Center were recently awarded a California Humanities grant to present revue performances of selections from his two musicals, “Harlem Voices” and “Harlem Voices: Revisited,” in Lake County between Feb and May 2025.
Clovice will conduct a chamber orchestra to accompany vocal soloists. The musicals represent an extraordinary initiative to transform the conversation around diversity, equity, and inclusion in our society.
Harlem Voices will pay $50 per hour per rehearsal and $70 per hour per concert. The amount of time singing is dependent upon each role, and performances location.
